I can't believe it! Here I am, standing in the BAU, surrounded by some of the best criminal profilers in the FBI. This is like a dream come true to me. So what if I'm staring at Spencer Reid. He's off on one of his rants again.
They are having a discussion about a criminal the news has dubbed the Renegade Baker. Reid is giving some statistic about the amount of flour typically used, every year, in a murder plot. Yea, I didn't think you could kill people with flour either. That one threw me for a loop too.
Evidently a bipartisanship has taken place between Rossi and Morgan, who was arguing over how many bakers have turned into homicidal manics. They really keep a record of this stuff. It's nuts! They have so much information and records about crazy people. I'd love to read about it, but I don't think they'd let me. Sure, I could probably hack into their system, but with Penelope Garcia at the helm, I don't think it will be simple as can be.
Oh look, here they come with the hand cuffs. Evidently, poisoning the baked good of your enemies is a no no. Guess I shouldn't have left my signature flour behind.
Today’s
post is a writing challenge. This is how it works: participating bloggers
picked 4 – 6 words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. All
words must be used at least once and all the posts will be unique as each
writer has received their own set of words. That’s the challenge, here’s a fun
twist; no one who’s participating knows who got their words and in what direction
the writer will take them. Until now.
At
the end of this post you’ll find links to the other blogs featuring this
challenge. Check them all out, see what words they got and how they used
them.

Dang it, I haven't watched Criminal Minds. I had to google Spencer Reid, but I'm glad I did; he is NOT ugly :)
ReplyDeleteCall me nuts, because more than once I've pondered evil things to do with flour... Haha! Happy Friday, Twinner!
Death by Flour! lol.....
DeleteWhat a great direction to take your words in. And how I love a baker as a character. You need to send this plot idea into the show!
ReplyDeleteI should totally write the episode and send it! lol!
DeleteI love, Love, LOVE this! So clever. Bakers would probably be extremely creative serial killers, if you think about it. Hmm... I think I see a story in that!
ReplyDeleteThank you! When I saw Penelope, I knew I had to go this route!
DeleteYour signature flour, hahaha! Great idea! Don't you just LOVE those writing challenges - you never know where they'll get you!
ReplyDeleteSarah love the route you went with this!
ReplyDeleteNext time I bake I'm going to be thinking twice about what flour is 'really' used for...
