Hi and welcome to this month's installment of Fly on the Wall. This is a challenge where you are given little snippets of my life that wouldn't typically make a blog post. Sit back and take a peak at the shenanigans that is my life.
As I’m looking it over, out of the corner of my eye, I see someone walk off toward the bathroom.
Think it is Caleb (and not bothering to look around), I call out “Hey! Get back here!”
Then I look up and see Caleb standing there.
I accidentally yelled at some poor man going to the bathroom.
*Speaking of Caleb, he went to his first therapy appointment yesterday (this is a common step with a transgender kiddo). The intake therapist said that, other than the gender dysphoria, Caleb is a normal 10 year old.
She didn't get to know him as well as us, because if she did, she'd know he is FAR from normal.
*Our dog, Boomer, is 3. He has a sweet tooth that would rival even mine. Here he is begging for a cookie.
*I went to the doctor on the 14th. I have a fibroid that is about the size of a 13 week gestation baby. I go the 29th to schedule my surgery to have it removed, along with the rest of my uterus. Ya girl is getting a hysterectomy!
*Here is one of our three rats. This one is Angelica. She was hanging on Caleb's shoulder, eating a chip. She's our love box.
*Right now, this is the most relatable meme on the internet.
*Oh...this happened! I'm now eligible to get my teaching certification!
*Sebastian got glasses. Evidently, he is nearsighted and thought things far away being blurry was normal.
*We are SOOOO close to going on our cruise!!!! 5 day to Grand Cayman and Cozumel. Cannot WAIT!
*It has been COLD here in Tampa Bay! The temps have been downright disrespectful!
Evidently, when it gets cold in Florida, iguanas fall out of trees.....who knew.
*Here is a random recent picture of me.
Okay, that's all I have for this month! Buzz off and see what my friends have for you!

So much going on in your life that's medically related lately. I'm glad the therapist is going to work with Caleb, that Sebastian can see and that you finally have answers about the fibroid. You are all really going to need that cruise to relax and have some fun.
ReplyDeleteOh, so jealous; Cozumel! Went there as a teenager, and would love to return. Our dogs will do anything for marshmallows. I'm pretty sure that cookies at least have SOME redeeming qualities. Marshmallows, not so much. Go, Boomer!
ReplyDeleteHopefully the cruise will bring you the R & R you obviously need.
ReplyDeleteHow do you ever say no to that face? I can but hubby can't - so who do the dogs sit next to at the dinner table? Yup
Congrats on being able to get your teaching certificate! AND a cruise??? OH YES!! Enjoy

Angelica is so cute!! We used to have two albino rats---I rescued them from a pet store so they wouldn't be sold for snake food. Rats are incredible sweet and smart! I miss my babies. They lived a long time. <3
