Put Away The Fly Tape - Fly On The Wall

It has been a minute since I've participated in a Fly post. Sadly, however, I really don't have a ton to update y'all on because that's just how boring my life is. But strap in anyway and I'll give ya a quick run down on the life of me.

*First off, ummm...we moved.

That's right...we are back in Kentucky. This time, it was because we were needed and we chose to. In February 2019, my stepmom passed away. My dad was really struggling, emotionally, so we moved back to help him. I can honestly say, in the 3 months we've been back, he's very much like his old self.

*Usually, when we move, we have to put all our stuff in storage and pack what we can in our vehicle. Because we planned this one out, we were able to get a Uhaul and bring our stuff with us (and put it in storage. lol). Here's The Hubs, Caleb and Boomer.

* So, we lost all of our rattie girls. That really sucked. Matthew had been wanting a bearded dragon for a long time, so...

Meet Frances Renee Fluffington, III. We don't know if they are male or female yet. I wouldn't have thought that I'd love a lizard as much as I do Frankie. Yet here I am, cleaning a container to put live crickets in every week.

*Oh, before we left Florida, Anastasia got her permit.

*Not long after moved back, Boomer went possum hunting and, well...she had babies. They are alive and healthy, living at a rehab facility. Anastasia and Sebastian rescued them.

*Being that Matthew and I are both vaccinated, we went to a concert (FINALLY!). It was 3 Doors Down featuring Seether. We left after Seether's set because it was that good (and we don't really care for 3 Doors Down.)

*These two turned 17 in July.

*Here they are at the imaging center in town. (more on that at the end)

*These two are also seniors! They are back in school. Homeschooling wasn't working for us.

*This one started 6th grade and is also back in school!

*Back to the imaging picture...
I've talked about how Matthew isn't Sebastian and Anastasia's biological father before. Their biological father and his side of the family has something called Polycystic Kidney Disease. This is a hereditary disease and 1 in 2 kids have a chance of getting it.
Sebastian was the one that drew that straw. He has some cysts on his kidneys. We don't know how bad yet or anything because we have to see a specialist called a nephrologist and we don't see them until next month. Other than having some cysts on his kidneys, he's totally fine and will lead a regular life, but this is a chronic illness with no cure.

Well, that's about it for my life. I bet my friends have much more interesting stories for you. Check them out by clicking the links below!
