My prompt came from Sparkly Poetic Weirdo and it is "The most beautiful smile you have laid eyes upon.". Thank you for the prompt!
I can't pick just one.
I simply can't.
I have three smiles that just absolutely light up my life. They are the most important smiles in the world. When these smiles fade, it is absolutely heartbreaking.
I know, it's a little cliche'. But my kids' smiles are what get me through the day. I love their smiles. More than anything in this world, their smiles can help improve my day. Without them, my days are dark.
I remember each one of their first smiles. So precious and sweet. I loved their little gummy baby smiles. Now, they are smiles full of teeth, but still precious and sweet.
I know it's short and sweet, but honestly, if I wrote about their smiles, you'd get bored.
Thank you for the prompt. It was, by far, the easiest one to write!

I'm totally with you. Once in prayer I was asking God why He made us, and it was like He was trying to tell me the answer was in a smile. I don't smoke crack, but maybe my cigarette had an hallucinogenic effect, or maybe it was God. Either way, I love seeing people in general smile now because of that, but deep down inside, the only smiles I'm most concerned about are my kids. If they stop smiling, then I'm doing something wrong. You know? And my oldest, age 7 almost 8, ever so often she will throw out the same exact smile she had as a baby when her dad would fling her into the air. She gets it when she's playing in water, gets tickled by her daddy or gets overly excited, and I just love it when she does it.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful smiles on those faces. I wouldn't be able to choose either.
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous and not jealous at all. LOL. I would have pulled my hair our trying to pick pictures to post for this prompt!
ReplyDeleteYou did amazing! Yes, those are three beautiful smiles! You make beautiful people! <3
Your kids are adorable. Nothing better than seeing your babies' smiles :) Short and sweet, twine. I love that!
