Come Listen To A Tale....

Today’s post is a writing challenge. This is how it works: participating bloggers picked 4 – 6 words or short phrases for someone else to craft into a post. All words must be used at least once and all the posts will be unique as each writer has received their own set of words. That’s the challenge, here’s a fun twist; no one who’s participating knows who got their words and in what direction the writer will take them. Until now.

Holy cow.

 

I find myself sitting here, contemplating life and all things that goes along with it. I do that a lot, these days. It's just how I pass the time. 

 

I look around at the people, rushing to and from, looking at their Timex watches and competing with each other in a grand race for all things materialistic. People on their smartphones, paying no mind to the things going on around them.

 

No one stops to smell the roses anymore. It's really sad.

 

I see people browsing their phone books on their phone, searching for that almighty dollar. They don't see that they are missing out on so much. They only see black and white. No fun colors, like orange. Crush, that's pretty much what they do. Crush against each other like roosters in a factory, just existing.

Of course, what do I know?

I'm just a banana.
